RMM pricing in Australia: what the tools cost in dollars

RMM vendors publish prices in US dollars, by device or by technician, and several publish none at all. Here is what that looks like in Australian dollars for a fleet of 250 machines and four technicians, with BE Hub beside them.

Checked 5 November 2026 · USD figures as published or reported · AUD at about 70 US cents to the dollar, ex GST

Two billing models

Per device. You pay for every laptop, server, firewall and router you enrol. Cheap for a small fleet, expensive as it grows, and every new site is a bill. NinjaOne, Level, Action1 and most of the field work this way.

Per technician. You pay for the people who operate the tool and enrol as many machines as you like. Atera and BE Hub work this way. It wins once each technician looks after more than about 40 machines.

A worked fleet: 250 machines, four technicians

  • BE Hub: 4 × A$105 = A$420 a month, with 2,000 pooled AI runs. The 251st machine costs nothing.
  • Atera at US$129: 4 × about A$185 = about A$740 a month, before any AI add-on.
  • Per device at US$2 (Level): 240 billable × about A$3 = about A$720 a month. At a reported US$3 a device: about A$1,070.
  • Per endpoint at US$4 (Action1 beyond the free tier): 50 billable × about A$6 = about A$300, rising with every machine past 250.

The per-device tools win at 30 machines and lose at 300. The per-technician tools do the reverse. Decide on the fleet you will have in two years, not the one you have now.

What is not in the list price

  • AI. Several vendors sell the AI investigator as an add-on. BE Hub includes 500 runs per seat, pooled; extra packs are A$150 for 500.
  • Network devices. Firewalls, routers and NAS are often a separate product or an SNMP add-on. BE Hub enrols them as machines in the same fleet.
  • Currency and GST. A US-dollar bill moves with the exchange rate and is charged before Australian GST is applied by your accountant. BE Hub's price is in AUD and does not move.
  • Hosting. Most are vendor SaaS only. BE Hub is hosted in Sydney today, or on your own premises or cloud on an annual band; it is a global product, not Sydney-only.
